The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Feb. 4 – 11, 2021. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Follow up – Barron Dr. Subject harassing and threatening to have DFACS take a child. Parties separated and advised of remedies.
TPO Violation – Towler St. Complainant reported her ex boyfriend violating his TPO through Facebook. Report taken and remedies advised.
Request to meet – Creekview Ct. Mental patient requested to meet an officer in ref to a named subject taking $2.00 and fleeing to an unknown location. Subject denied EMS and Law Enforcement services, all ok.
Juvenile complaint – Tall Oaks East. Ref to a group of b/m teenagers cussing near the complainants’ property. Area searched with negative contact.
Shots Fired – Wheel House Ln. In reference to the complainant advising that they heard 3 shots and subjects screaming. One shell casing was located. A projectile was removed from the hall of a residence. Report taken.
Found Property – W Spring St. Piedmont Walton. In reference to a purse with syringes. Multiple drug related objects as well as narcotics were discovered within the purse. Warrants taken.
Transport – S Broad St. MPD. Jibree Ward transported per CID request to the Walton County Jail without incident or injury.
Dispute – E Church St. In reference to a female customer inside the store wearing a greenish dress harassing the complainant. Subject was advised to leave the property.
Dispute – S Broad St. Walgreens. In reference to mental patient on location from earlier this date at E Church St. Female requested to go to the hospital due to complainants of heart pain. Patient was taken to Piedmont Walton by officer. Walgreens employees advised that everything was ok, they just wanted the female off their property. All ok.
Suspicious Person – W Spring St. Piedmont Walton. In reference to a white female in the lobby, who was recently discharged refusing to follow COVID protocols. Subject was asked to leave the location.
Juvenile Complaint – Sporty Ln. the complainant’s 16-year-old son being unruly. Complainant was uncooperative advised that officers could leave the residence.
Follow Up – Sporty Ln. Subject was advised of options her child’s behavior.
Entering Auto – Castle Ct: In reference to 2 vehicles being gone through. A Smith & Wesson handgun was taken and placed on GCIC as a stolen weapon. Report made.
Dispute – Turner Street: In reference to a female subject throwing coffee on subject at the Hot Spot. She was arrested for simply battery. Report made.
Burglary Report – West Spring Street at Charismatic Christian Church: Several glass windows broken with large rocks. The building was cleared and did not appear to have any damage on the inside. A key holder arrived on scene for further assistance. Turned over to CID.
Dispute – West Spring Street at Walmart: Complainant advised of a dispute with a knife involved. After investigation, it was found that the two parties were having a verbal dispute with no weapons involved. Parties were separated. All ok.
Dispute -Gatewood Way – Subject assaulting his wife with feces. He was arrested for Simple Battery FV.
