The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Nov. 21 – 28, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the fourth part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
- Fight – Da Grand – No fight observed, officers stood by while the club was shut down and party-goers cleared out.
- Meet with Officer – E. Spring St. – Bulldog Tire in reference to subject wanting to know where his vehicle was and stating a friend wrecked his vehicle last date. The subject was advised to pick his vehicle up from Taylors tomorrow when they open.
- Lost Item – W. Spring St., Walmart. In reference to a lost cell phone.
- Illegal dumping – W. Spring St. Coin Car Wash. The owner reports a recliner was thrown in his dumpster. He had video of a female subject driving a white Ford Taurus Station wagon. The subject was not able to be identified.
- Shoplifting – W. Spring St., Wal-Mart. In reference to a white male subject observed stealing items from the business. The subject was gone on arrival on foot. An area check was conducted with negative contact. Report taken.
- Loud music – Walker Dr. Anonymous complainant advised loud music from this address, ongoing issue. Negative contact.
- Follow up – W. Spring St., Wal-Mart. Ref to the previous shoplifter on location. He was arrested for shoplifting and Disorderly Conduct after threatening WalMart staff.
- Juvenile Problem – Booth Dr. – Complainant reported a juvenile taking his rake and chair from his back porch. The complainant had retrieved his property and stated he didn’t want the unknown children back to his house.
- Gas Drive Off – Short Stop – Employee’s reported an older white male with camo pants, driving a newer model white GMC pick-up drove off and didn’t pay for $34 worth of gas. Report taken.
- Dispute – Hillcrest Apt. – Subjects arguing over living arrangements. The eviction process was advised. All ok
- Mental Episode – Gatewood Dr. – 14 YOA was having an autism episode. The situation was mediated and the subject went to bed.
