MPD Reports: Juvenile arrested for attacking mother and damaging car and other domestic assaults and disputes

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Feb 20 – 26, 2026. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

• Domestic Dispute – King St – In reference to the complainant advising her daughter, busted her rear windshield and struck her multiple times with a metal bar. Damages and injuries were observed and juvenile was taken into custody. Juvenile intake was advised and she was transported to GYDC.
• Stolen Item – S Broad Street, Walker Dr- In reference to the complainant reporting his temporary tag being stolen off the back of his vehicle the previous night while it was parked at his residence in Southside MHP. Report taken and sent to CID. GCIC entry made.
• Domestic Dispute – W Spring St; Dollar Tree – In reference to an anonymous complainant advising of a dispute occurring inside the store. Upon arrival, Officers separated all parties’ involved and gathered information pertaining to subject divulging to his current girlfriend that he had sexual relations with his son’s girlfriend. Girlfriend then approached son’s girlfriend within the store and began striking her at the cashier counter. Parties involved advised that the sexual encounter between subject and son’s girlfriend was possibly against her will and occurred in the Counties jurisdiction. The OIC for Walton County was notified and their CID responded based on the allegations. Girlfriend was taken into custody for Family Violence Battery and transported to the Walton County Jail without incident.
• Dispute – West Spring Street, The Brown Fig- In reference to a customer acting strange and making the staff feel uncomfortable. Subject was asked to leave the restaurant to which he did without issue.
• Suspicious Person – Colonial Village Apts – In reference to a female lying on the ground shouting. Contact was made with the female, who was extremely intoxicated. She was assisted to her apartment.
• Suspicious vehicle – E Church St; Chevron. In reference to observing a Chevrolet Impala car parked at the pumps with its brake lights on. Upon further investigation, contact was made with subject who advised he was waiting on digital funds through his bank card so he could pump gas. No further suspicion was observed, all appeared ok.
• Mechanical breakdown – N Broad St at Sorrells St. In reference to a vehicle broke down needing a jump. The vehicle was unable to be jumped and was towed by Taylors per request.
• Business Alarm – MLK Jr Blvd – In reference to alarm at Zaxby’s, Contact made, new hire in training didn’t turn off alarm in time. All ok.
• Dispute – Pine Park – In reference to a verbal dispute between male and female subjects ending with one being hit in the face with an unopened beer can causing a gash to the underside of her chin. Warrant taken on male.
• Dispute – Pine Park – In reference to subject wanting inside the residence and the maintenance person not letting her in due to not being on the lease.
• Wanted Subject – Rosewood Ln. – In reference to a subject on location with a warrant for Simple Battery FV. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Jail without issue.
• 911 hangup – Mears St- All ok on location.
• Follow up – Towler- In reference to seeing who lives at the residence for CID.
• 911 Hangup – E Church St – All ok on location.
• Civil Dispute – Pine Park St – In reference to subject wanting inside the Unit to get her things and not being let in.
• Road Blocked – N Midland Ave – In reference to a utility trailer sticking out into the roadway. The truck and trailer were moved upon request.
• Vehicle Unlock – Pavilion Parkway – Vehicle unlocked no damage.
• Traffic stop/arrest – McDaniel St at Spruce Ln – Rodriquez Thomas arrest for driving without a license following a traffic stop for speeding. Fingerprinted and ROC.
• Vehicle unlock – Pavillion PKWY- Vehicle unlocked, no damage.
• 911 Hangup – G W Carver- Contact made, All ok.
• Civil Issue – Pine Park St – In reference to a civil issue amongst family members. Remedies advised.
• Illegal parking – Pavilion Pkwy- extra patrolled area call cleared.
• Suspicious Vehicle – W Spring St- In reference to a four-wheeler being unloaded and road in the parking lot, Negative contact.
• Dispute/Mental Patient – In reference to a male subject having a mental episode. Complainant, Alleged Victim, and family members all uncooperative with Law Enforcement.
• Dispute – In reference to the complainant wanting a subject to be removed from her house after he was trespassed. The daughter of complainant, who lives in the residence as well and is on the lease is allowing subject to come back over. Situation was mediated and explained to both parties.
• Firearms – Armistead Cir – In reference to the complainant believing she heard a gunshot behind her residence. Area checked, no shell casing or damage located.
• Child Abuse – S Broad St.- In reference to subject’s 18-month-old sustaining a second-degree burn while having her hands washed by a caretaker on Tuesday. Report taken and sent to CID.
• Suspicious Vehicle – HWY 11- In reference to a Hyundai passenger car swerving and riding the complainant’s bumper. Negative contact made.
• Vehicle Unlock – W Spring St – Vehicle unlocked no damage. Vehicle Unlock – Green St – Vehicle unlocked no damage.
• Burglary – Creekside Way: In reference to a potential residential burglary with an open front door. Residence cleared with K9 and officers. No apparent items found missing.
• Civil Issue – Reference to living arrangements, eviction process advised.
• Juv Problem – E Spring St – In reference to two juvenile males fighting on the bus. Carver Middle School SRO contacted and scene Turned over to WCSO SRO.
• Alarm – W Spring St- All okay.
• Suspicious Vehicle – Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd – In reference to the driver possibly DUI. Area checked, negative contact.
• Juvenile Complaint – Mayfield Dr – In reference to Juveniles running across Hwy 78. Juveniles were contacted and advised they were walking home from school. Advised not to run in roadway. All ok.
• Dispute – Maple St – Anonymous Female called and stated that subject pulled a knife on her father. Contact made at the residence, no one stated that subject pulled a knife and the female who called remained anonymous.
• Suspicious Vehicle – E Church St- In reference to a male riding electric scooter, Negative contact.
• Juvenile Complaint – Bridgeport Ln- In reference to complainant wanting a report about a child hitting her 2 kids at school and on the bus, Advised her to contact WC SRO.
• Vehicle Unlock – W Spring St – vehicle unlocked no damage.
• Vehicle Unlock – Tanglewood Dr – Vehicle unlocked no damage.
• Vehicle Unlock – Masters Dr – Vehicle unlocked no damage.
• Accident – Pavilion Pkwy; Ichiban Grill – In reference to a two vehicle collision; no injuries. Report in GEARS.
• Alarm – W. Spring St – All secure on location.
• Suspicious Person – E Church St; Chestnut Cupboard – In reference to subjects allegedly gambling on scene. The store manager advised he wanted the subjects off the property. Subjects agreed to stay off store property for the night.
• Suspicious Person/Arrest – E Church & Baron Dr – In reference to a named subject heavily intoxicated dancing in the roadway and causing a disturbance. He was taken into custody and turned over to Deputies at the Walton County Jail without issue.
• Accident/Arrest – Alcovy St / Ammons Bridge Rd – In reference to a Single vehicle accident with no injuries, upon further investigation the was found to be driving under the influence and was taken into custody. He was taken to Piedmont Walton for a Blood draw and medical clearance then taken to the Walton County Jail where he was turned over to jail staff without incident.
• Business Alarm – W Spring St; Marathon – Business secured.
• 911 Hang-Up – Spruce Ln – Doorbell rang twice, area checked, negative contact with homeowner.
• 911 Hang-Up – E Church St – Contact made with homeowner, all okay on location.
• Vehicle Breakdown – Baker St & Hwy 78 EB – In reference to a vehicle stuck 20 off the roadway in a ditch. Taylor’s called per owner’s request.
