MPD Reports: Juvenile complaints, mental health issues and domestic disputes

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Feb. 11 – 18, 2021. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the third part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Juvenile complaint – Pine Park St., Eastview Cemetery. Ref to 4-5 juveniles messing with graves. Contact was made with the juveniles that stated they were only walking around looking at the graves. 

Unknown Law – E Spring St. Monroe Motor Inn. In reference to male who possibly needs medical attention per the complainant. Subjects was turned over to to EMS and transported to Piedmont Walton for medical treatment. 

Juvenile Runaway – S Broad St. In reference to subject running away from the residence again after returning to the residence earlier this date. Subject returned to his residence while Officers were on scene. 

Suspicious Person – Kelton Rd at Cloverdale Dr. In reference to a male subject, wearing a khaki-colored coat and a black hat in the road. Subject was lying in the middle of the road, intoxicated, eating chicken just outside of his residence. Subject did return with a warrant out of Walton County but was denied and was told to return to his residence. Nothing further. 

Mental Patient) at 140 Tanglewood Dr Apt A. In reference to a 50-year-old male stating that he is hearing voices and is not on any narcotics. Patient was transported to Piedmont Walton. Turned over to EMS. 

Mental Patient – Nowell Street. Subject experiencing a medical episode, she was turned over to EMS and transported to the hospital. 

Foot patrol -n the area of St. Ives. New construction areas checked for copper thefts, squatters, vandalism, and open doors, all ok. 

Assault report – West Spring St., Piedmont Walton. 16-year-old reported being assaulted by her 13-year-old girlfriend. Report taken and juvenile complaint form filled out. 

Theft report – South Broad St., Walton Cotton Mill Co. Complainant wanting to report that the Chevron clerk possibility pocketed $10 of his money. Report taken. 

Suspicious person – East Spring St., FISH. Complainant observed a b/m going through the trash outside on video. Subject had permission to be on location. 

Dispute – Lacy St. Two parties getting into a physical altercation. Both parties were drunk and had marks on them. Due to conflicting stores no parties were arrested. Parties were separated.
