MPD Reports: Lewd photographs, animal complaints, noise complaints and more domestic disputes

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Jan. 18 – 24, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the second part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Juvenile Complaint, Irving St., reference to mother stating her 12-year-old son was fighting with kids in the neighborhood. Contact made with juveniles and their guardian, all parties were warned to stay away from the other.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, West St., behind the library. A black SUV was located and the passenger door open. Officer attempted to make contact with the owner but had negative contact.
  • Trespassing, Glenwood Dr., reference to an unknown subject seen sleeping in the vacant residence. Subject was gone when officers arrived, extra patrol requested.
  • Dispute, West Spring St., Piedmont Walton, referea nce to mental patient being uncooperative.
  • Dispute, West Spring St., Piedmont/Walton. Reference to mental patient causing an issue in the ER.  He was calm and under control when LEO arrived. All ok.
  • Harassment, Fawnfield Dr., mother reported her 8-year-old daughter is being bullied on social media sites.
  • Loud Music, Maple Lane, Large party.  In the process of breaking up as officers arrived. Parking lot cleared, all ok.
  • Animal Complaint, Green St., /Perry St., reference to red pit bull loose. Made contact, non-aggressive turned over to animal control.
  • Dispute, Baron Dr., reference to complainant inviting male subject over for child’s birthday party and then wanting him to leave. Male subject collected property and left.
  • Welfare Check, Storehouse Court, made contact with a male subject and asked him to call the mother of his children.
  • Welfare Check, Classic Trail, reference to the male subject from earlier call thinking mother was drinking in her vehicle with her child. Spoke with the mother who was not drinking or in the vehicle.
  • Dispute, West Marable, reference to complainant calling for assistance to leave the home due to ongoing disputes with family. He requested help to get to his mother’s home in Miami.  FISH was contacted and he was given a ride to Haven Inn and FISH will get him a bus ticket tomorrow.
  • Dispute, Tanglewood Dr., son stated nothing happened.  His mother originally called.
  • Noise Complaint, Green St., a male subject was upset over his missing cell phone.  He was advised not to throw his furniture in the front yard, disturbing his neighbors.
  • Dispute, North Broad St., Deer Acres Inn, male subject’s girlfriend found him at the motel with his other girlfriend.  All parties were told to leave the location.
  • Disturbing the Peace, West Creek Circle, reference to a large party with loud music. Party shut down due to patrons being unwilling to abide by ordinances.
  • Meet With complainant, Old Mill Point, reference to a juvenile who needed a ride home. Canceled by the complainant who found a ride.
  • Dispute, Carver Place, reference to a dispute between two juvenile females. Parties separated.
  • Dispute, Third St., the complainant on the scene claiming male subject punched him in the face after a dispute over keys. No family violence. Report taken.
  • Hit & Run, West Spring St., met with the complainant. She stated she was traveling eastbound down row 11, hen a Nissan backed out into her front end of her vehicle, then left the scene. Report Taken.
  • Suspicious Activity, Tall Oaks, daughter on scene advising her elderly mother is having consensual sex and sending lewd photographs to a named male subject. Requested police documentation. Report taken.
  • Dispute, Eagles Trail, David Cook arrested for Madison Sheriff’s Office warrant. No family violence or dispute. Report taken.
  • Counterfeit, West Spring St., employee stated a customer presented a counterfeit $20.00 bill. Report Taken.
