MPD Reports: Male found bleeding in middle of E. Marable St. believed to have suffered seizure

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Oct. 24 – 31, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • EMS Assist – E. Marable St. near Gatewood Dr. in reference to unconscious male bleeding in the middle of the street. The subject was transported to the hospital. After further investigation, it was determined the male possibly suffered a seizure. 
  • Threats – Magnolia Ter. in reference to complainant receiving threats from a subject. Report taken.
  • Missing Person – W. Spring St. – Walmart – Complainant wanted to report her daughter, missing. The complainant was advised to contact an individual in reference to the location of her daughter.
  • Fraud – S. Broad St. – Butcher Block in reference to the complainant having a fraudulent check deposited into his Synovus bank account. Report taken.
  • Shoplifting – W. Spring St. – Quality Foods. A W/F and W/M shoplifted inside the store. The female was identified. The male subject is unknown. A warrant was taken against the female for shoplifting. Further investigation needed to ID the male.
  • Animal Complaint – Glen Iris Dr. in reference to two large canines killing the complainant’s cat. Turned over to WCAC.
  • Dispute – E. Spring St. – Monroe Motor Inn in reference to complainant wanting subject to leave his room. The subject stated she had a friend in route to pick her up. All ok.
  • Theft – E. Church St. – Jack Peters. Stephen Peters stated approximately six of his campaign signs on East Church Street were taken sometime between 0100 hours and 1400 hours this date. Report taken.
  • Dispute – Magnolia Ter. – Complainant and juvenile in a dispute over the candy the complainant was selling. Parties separated.
  • Harassment – MLK at Applebees – Complainant stated her ex-boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend sent him threatening text messages. Remedies given.
  • Dispute – Hwy 78 Truck Stop – Complainant reported getting into a fight with her boyfriend. No physical evidence of a primary aggressor could be determined, and parties were separated.
