MPD Reports: McDonalds’ drive-thru cashier & pizza delivery person shot with water guns

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period May 31 to June 6, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the second part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Domestic Dispute – E. Marable St.: Complainant called due to an argument that was said to have gotten physical with the subject.  No signs of a physical altercation.  Parties separated.
  • Suspicious Person – S. Broad S. (Southside Park). Spoke to the complainant about an occupant in a black pick up soliciting her.  The black Truck is a 2012 Ford F150 GA and the owner was tracked down. This truck fled the driveway of a lot when he noticed an officer pulled up.  The officer attempted to make contact, but was unable to locate the vehicle.  Both complainant and the resident of the lot advised that he never mentioned “sex” or similar behavior when asked if they want to make $100.00.
  • Damage to Property – E. Spring St. – In reference to subject scraping the bottom of her vehicle leaving the parking lot.
  • Meet With – West Spring Street (McDonald’s): In reference to Juvenile patron spraying a employee in the face with a water gun last date at approximately 2300 hours in drive-thru. They wanted MPD to be aware of the incident.
  • Animal Complaint – Overlook Crest: Complainant had a black snake that went under her steps. The snake is still on location unable to get to it.
  • Assault – So. Broad St.  Third party wanted to be advised of an assault that occurred on May 30, 2019 in Tanglewood.  She stated the subject assaulted victim then pushed her in the head.  Report taken.
  • Dispute – Walker Dr.: Complainant was at the hospital stating his ex-girlfriend was at the house destroying property.  Contact was made at the residence and she stated she was gathering her belongings.  At this time the issue was a civil matter
  • Juvenile Complaint – Sporty Lane: Complainant on location requesting information on how to surrender parental rights. Remedies advised.
  • Suspicious Vehicle – Clearview Dr.  Johnny Bryant called in reference to a white work van that seemed suspicious in the area.  Officer was able to locate the van and make contact with the van.  Everything was ok.
  • Gun Shots – Creek View Dr. Caller heard gun shots in the area. Conducted an area check no contact.
  • Disturbing the Peace – GW Carver Dr. in reference to juveniles outside being loud.  Officer made contact with juveniles who were playing with water guns.  They were advised to go inside for the night.  All ok.
  • Wanted Person -N. Broad St.: Joshua Jackson arrested for felony parole violations out of the City of Atlanta.
  • Suspicious Person – Pine Park: Located a vehicle occupied with multiple persons. A probable cause search was conducted. Subject was found to be in possession of a firearm under the age of 21. He was arrested, report taken.
  • Fire Assist – S. Broad St. – In reference to directing traffic on S. Broad.
  • Agency Assist – GW Carver Dr.: Ref DFACS needing to check the welfare of the child.  All ok.
  • Civil Issue – Brookland Ct. – In reference to complainant saying the subject was contacting him on social media and it was a continuing problem. Information added to the original report.
  • Dispute – Wheelhouse Lane – In reference to complainant getting sprayed with water gun while delivering pizza. Made contact with a subject who was issued warning. All parties advised of legality of spraying subjects in vehicles.
