MPD Reports: Multiple citations issued after couple engage in ‘adult’ activities in restaurant parking lot

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period May 8 – 15, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the third part. Please note and arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Meet with Officer – S. Broad St. – John’s Supermarket in reference to two complainants reporting a lost cell phone. The phone was pinging to a S. Madison Ave. address. The phone was retrieved and returned to the complainant.
  • Follow Up – W. Spring St. – Walmart. The subject was identified as the offender from two previous shopliftings at Walmart. Warrant to be taken for felony shoplifting and misdemeanor shoplifting.
  • Shoplifting – W. Spring St. – Walmart. Subject arrested for shoplifting. She was fingerprinted and released on copy of the citation.
  • Juvenile Complaint – S. Broad St. – Monroe Police Department in reference to juvenile stealing at school. The juvenile was spoken to regarding the laws and good behavior.
  • Juvenile Runaway – Storehouse Ct – Juvenile left without permission.  Entered on GCIC and juvenile complaint.
  • Suspicious Person – S. Broad: Two juveniles located on scene loitering at the Dollar General. After a brief foot chase, both were detained until parents were able to pick them up. Son was released to one, daughter released to another. Both parents received citations for parental responsibility.
  • Traffic Stop – W. Spring and S. Jackson: Subject arrested for local Walton County Sheriff’s Office warrants without incident.
  • Follow Up – Store House Ct. in reference to Juvenile returning home. Juvenile was taken off GCIC by Walton 911.
  • Traffic Stop – Church St. Subject was arrested for driving without a license. She was fingerprinted and released.
  • Unknown Problem – Rose Ison Ter. in reference to a black male following the complainant. Complainant stated her boyfriend was following her and her son in Rose Ison and on Sorrells St. in his brown Crown Vic. They advised he kept trying to block them in and started punching complainants’ window. There was visible blood and smudges on the vehicle from the subject hitting it. Warrant to be taken for simple assault.
  • Suspicious person – W. Spring St., Wal-Mart. Peter Lopez arrested for Driving under the influence, and Failure to maintain lane.
  • Suspicious vehicle – MLK Jr. Blvd., Longhorns. Ref to a silver Nissan passenger car with occupants having relations in the back of the parking lot.  Two subjects were located, engaged in adult activities in a vehicle without tinted windows, in view of a crowded parking lot.  Multiple citations issued.
  • Suspicious Vehicle – S. Madison Ave., Felker Park. Subject cited for 1<oz of Marijuana and Ralph Williams was arrested for an outstanding probation violation warrant.
