MPD Reports: Reports of wife trying to ruin man’s name, overdose of pills and juveniles throwing rocks

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Sept. 5 – 12, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the first part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Juvenile complaint – New Lacy St., in reference to three small juveniles on location refusing to go to school. All okay. 
  • Theft – S. Broad St – Complainant stated someone stole his medication in Morgan County. Remedies advised.
  • Follow Up – Towler St. Albert Floyd advised the gun he previously reported stolen was located. He wanted to cancel the report.
  • Dispute – Maple Way/Maple Lane in reference to one woman allegedly trying to hit another with her car. One woman was gone when officers arrived. The other was advised of her available remedies, the two have an ongoing issue.
  • Flagged Down – Wheelhouse Lane. Female wanted to advise on the suspicious activity of neighbor in the apartment. She stated they fight in front of their children and people visit throughout the night. Advised female of remedies.
  • Loitering – Synovus Bank -Staff called in reference to multiple subjects from the assisted living residence loitering at their front door. Subjects were advised
  • Damage to Property – Hometown Tire -Complainant stated his wife hit a curb on Monday. Remedies advised and report declined.
  • Loitering – Synovus Bank. 1096 persons sitting on the benches in the courtyard outside the bank. Bank representative asked them to be removed. The group went on their way.
  • Warrant Service – Ridgeview -Jasper County advised subject was on location being released within the hour and had active warrants for Aggravated Battery from Florida.
  • Traffic Stop/Arrest – Vehicle stopped for traffic offense. Paige Louge arrested for alleged 38D heroin. Transported to Walton County Jail
  • Juvenile Complaint – Blaine St. Bridge St. – The Bridge of Georgia in reference to a student trying to leave the building. Situation mediated.
  • Dispute – Breedlove Dr. -Staff called in reference to a patient’s family on location causing a disturbance, situation mediated
  • Warrant Service – S. Madison in reference to a subject possibly has a warrant. Warrant was confirmed out of Walton County for Violation of Probation. Report taken.
  • Flagged Down – MLK Jr. Blvd., Carmichael. In reference to a man looking for his 76-year-old Mother. He hasn’t had contact with his mother, since 11:30 am. He was advised to check home and see if she shows up anywhere because she is not mentally ill. Nothing further.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Bridgeport Pl. in reference to kids in the neighborhood disputing with the complainant’s 11-year-old son. Spoke with all parties involved and the situated was mediated.
  • Theft – W. Creek Cir. in reference to a complainant having two bicycles stolen from his residence by two black juveniles.
  • 911 Hang Up – Wheel House Lane in reference to juveniles playing on the phone. Officer made contact with an adult on location who stated all was okay. He advised he would speak to any children on location about playing on the phone.
  • Meet with Officer – Greenwood Dr. Subject stated that while at school her friend took 30 pills and began throwing up. She stated the friend’s boyfriend gave her the pills and was not sure what they were. She also stated that her friend had an injury to the back of the head that she was told happened due to the friend’s mother hitting her. Officer contacted the SRO for Walnut Grove to get an address for the victim. Her address was in the County and dispatch sent a Deputy to conduct a welfare check.
  • Fraud – W. Spring St. – Walmart in reference to a complainant reporting that his USAA debit card was used at Walmart last date. An unknown black male subject came inside the business and used his cell phone to charge a total of $418.31 on the victim’s debit card. Report taken.
  • Dispute – S. Broad St. at the Monroe PD – The complainant wanted to advise officers that his wife was trying to ruin his name. He was advised of civil remedies regarding the divorce.
  • Damage To Property – In reference to juveniles who live next door throwing rocks, and damaging property. Juveniles not on location upon arrival. Options were advised.
