The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Jan. 7 – 14, 2021. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the third part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Suspicious Person – 1 Bulldog Dr (GWA): In reference to subject stating she was run from individuals that were chasing her. Subject was given a courtesy ride.
Suspicious Vehicle – Walker Drive: subjects on ATVs in the area and on the roadway. Two unknown males driving recklessly on red Razr type ATV.
Hit and Run – South Broad Street; Johns Supermarket a vehicle being struck in the parking lot. Subject struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot. She was located at her home, arrested, fingerprinted, and released on citation.
Carjacking – S Broad St. Subject carjacked while leaving work at Johns Supermarket. Vehicle was located shortly afterward wrecked in the county. Jessie Henderson was arrested on scene.
Dispute/Fight – North Broad Street; Da Grand subjects in a physical altercation. All subjects dispersed upon arrival.
Fight/Firearms – Tanglewood Drive several subjects from Da Grand in a physical altercation in the roadway and blocking it. Several shell casings and blood in the roadway. Turned over to CID.
Theft – Tanglewood Drive in reference subject having her gun stolen out of her purse in the driveway.
Domestic Dispute – Magnolia Terrace: Subject getting into a physical altercation with another subject. One subject was gone when officers arrived Complainant declined medical treatment. Warrants To Be Taken. Report Made.
Dispute – Nowell St Apt D -Complainant stated her juvenile stepson physically assaulted her and her son during a dispute. Report taken, DJJ contacted and parties separated.
Assault – West Spring Street (Piedmont Walton): In reference to subject being stabbed in the right hand with a pair of scissors. Declined a report, refused to provide any information.
