MPD Reports: Slew of domestic disputes; threats; EMS assist and dispute over unwanted advances

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Feb 27 to March 5, 2026. Due to the length, this report has been split into three parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

• Mental Patient – E. Spring St; Piedmont Walton-Piedmont Walton called due to a 2013 patient damaging items and being unruly, officers stood by while hospital security handled the patient. Report taken
• Threats Report – Millstone Bluff – Complainant stated that she was being threatened by subject via Facebook. The post never stated her name directly. The complainant stated that she wanted to press charges. It was explained to her that there was not enough probable cause in the Facebook post for threats, nor harassment by communications, due to only one post and not being a repeated event of communication. She was advised of the Temporary Protection Order process and that she could pick up a copy of the report, take it to the judge, and see if he would issue a warrant.
• Other Law – Apt. – In reference to complainant calling, stating that she was at the apartment of a subject, and he was mad because she would not have relations with him. She stated that he came and picked her up from her residence. Complainant was given a ride back to her residence.
• Burglary Report – West Marable St – In reference to complainant reporting her neighbor allegedly took items from her shed.
• Theft – Cherry Hill Rd – Reference theft of granite cutting equipment at an unspecified time during the weekend. Report made.
• Vehicle Lockout – Towler St – In reference to a Honda passenger car. Vehicle opened, no damage.
• Vehicle Accident – West Spring St / Taco Bell – 2 vehicle private property accident with no injuries, GEARS report
• Burglary Attempt – Radford St – Reference Neighbor reporting person attempting to get into the back of the residence. While on scene the lawful renters returned to the residence and stated they used a key to gain entry. The complainant believed the residence was vacant at the time.
• Fire Assist – Walton Rd- Fire arrived before police. Call handled by fire.
• TPO Violation – Maple Ln – Reference complainant reporting a violation of her TPO by subject through third party communication. On scene complainant showed me a text message from a person she identified as currently living with subject. The text message asked complainant to call. I advised complainant remedies prior to my departure.
• Mental Patient – M.L.K. Jr. Blvd: Legacy Bank – In reference to subject on location having suicidal thoughts and diabetic issues. Subject is a patient of Piedmont Hospitals. Subject was transported to Piedmont Walton for further treatment and turned over to hospital staff without incident. Walton County Mental Health task force survey completed.
• Suspicious Person – Highway 78 / Waffle house – Reference unknown male walking in the roadway towards Walmart DC. Area checked, no contact made.
• EMS Assist / Arrest – E.Spring St / Felker St – Reference passenger of a vehicle suffering from possible seizures. The passenger was taken to Piedmont Walton for further evaluation. The driver was found to have a full extradition warrant out of Alabama for a drug offense. She was placed under arrest and transported to Walton County Sheriff’s Office after confirmation of the warrant. Deputies at the jail ran the subject through the full body scanner where they discovered contraband in one of her body cavities. In addition to her warrant out of Alabama, she was charged with Possession of Schedule II.
• TPO Violation – Pavilion Pkwy / Planet Fitness – In reference to the complainant reporting her ex in the gym with her in spite of having an active TPO. Incident documented.
• Child Abuse – Tall Oaks E – Reference the complainant reporting her 7-year-old child being spanked by her father. On scene I observed small marks to the back of juvenile. The bruising appeared to be from an old injury and not consistent with a slap. Report was made and forwarded to CID.
• Juvenile Complainant – Carver Pl – In reference to unknown juveniles banging on the complainants windows and doors. Remedies advised and extra patrol requested.
• Suspicious Vehicle – Harris St, Legion- In reference to a UPS truck on location, driver was taking a break. He was asked to move to a different location. All okay.
• Domestic Dispute – Carwood Dr – In reference to the complainant, advising his wife had been drinking and put her hands on him. Upon arrival, Officers observed scratch marks along complainant’s neck that were still fresh and actively bleeding. The subject advised she did not know how complainant sustained his injuries but agreed there was a physical altercation while three of their children were present. She was taken into custody and charged with FV- Battery and Cruelty to Children- 3rd Degree x3. She was transported to the Walton County Jail where she was turned over to Deputies without incident.
• Suspicious Vehicle – Hwy 78- In reference to a vehicle following behind the complainant’s vehicle, negative contact, co unty advised.
• Dispute – Pine Park Street- In reference to multiple family members outside arguing. Upon further investigation it was learned that they were upset due to their close family member passing away earlier in the day. No signs of any violence, situation mediated, everything okay.
• Disturbing the Peace – Gliding Lane- In reference to loud music, yelling and possible gunshots heard in the area. Area checks conducted throughout Baron Properties, negative contact.
• Stolen Vehicle/Repo – Elm St – In reference to the complainant advising someone was actively stealing her vehicle and driving away. Complainant called back advising her vehicle had been repossessed and confirmed by wrecker logs.
• Warrant Service – Davis Street- In reference to a named subjecton location with active arrest warrants. He was taken into custody and transported to the WCSO without incident.
• Disturbing the Peace – E Washington St. – In reference to complaints of a loud juvenile. Negative contact on location.
• Fight – Green St & Mayfield Dr – In reference to an anonymous complainant advising of a fight with multiple subjects in the area of Green St and Mayfield Dr. Contact was made with complainant who advised him and his brother were being followed by a vehicle from Walmart. While picking up two females, they were approached by several subjects who proceeded to fight with the two over a female that was currently in their vehicle. Complainant sustained a laceration above his left eye and a busted lip. The subject were taken into custody on disorderly conduct and transported to the Walton County Jail without incident.
• Illegal Parking – Hwy 78 & Unisia- In reference to a semi-truck parked in the turn lane blocking traffic. Vehicle was GOA.
• EMS Assist – Wellington Ln; In reference to a 67-year-old female found unconscious. CPR and AED was administered to the patient before the scene was TOT MFD and EMS. The patient was transported to Piedmont-Walton.
• Juvenile Complaint – Tall Oaks E – Reference complainant reporting her son not logging into online class. Complainant stated son was kicked out of online schooling today for refusing to turn on the camera. Remedies were advised and incident was documented.
• Vehicle Accident w/ Injuries – Charlotte Rowell Blvd / Pavilion Pkwy- Jeep Cherokee vs Chevrolet Corvette. Minor injuries. Both vehicles removed by Taylor’s. Report in GEARS.
• Wanted Person – Alcovy St – Probation office. In reference to a named subject on location with an active probation violation warrant. He was taken into custody and transported to the Walton County jail without incident. Report taken.
• Vehicle accident – Hwy 78 Eastbound / Hwy 11 and Hwy 78 eastbound entrance ramp; In reference to a motorcycle single vehicle crash with injuries.
• Suspicious Vehicle – HWY 78 EB at E Spring St. – In reference to a Ford Mustang driving recklessly on HWY 78 Eastbound. Area was checked; negative contact.
• Traffic Stop / Arrest – N.Madison / Bold Springs – Reference White escape stopped for obstructed tag and no tag on file. Driver was found to be driving on an expired CP license. Driver was placed under arrest for driving with no valid license, fingerprinted and released on copies of citations.
