MPD Reports: Slew of entering autos, firearms stolen, rape and hit and run

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Sept. 12 – 19, 2019. Due to length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the third part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Entering Auto – Manor Place – in reference to complainant reporting her 2016 silver Honda Accord being entered and gone through. She stated a firearm was stolen from the vehicle. Her firearm was a silver-.38spl with white pearl grips of unknown make and model. She was unable to provide a serial number at this time. Report taken. 
  • Physical Dispute – E. Church St. – Favor Caribbean Cuisine. Physical dispute between three subjects. There were conflicting stories in reference to the FV portion between two of subjects; and third subject did not want to press charges. Parties were separated.
  • Rape – W. Spring St.- Piedmont Walton. Incident occurred this past Thursday in Cobb County where female was arrested along with her husband. Female is now claiming that she was sexually assaulted by her husband that same night according to Piedmont Walton staff. Female was uncooperative with police and refused to give any information. Cobb County requested documentation.
  • Noise Complaint – Hammond Park – In reference to a party involving dirt bikes and four- wheelers. They were advised not to ride the dirt bikes and four-wheelers in the park.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Wheelhouse Lane – In reference to juveniles fighting at this location. Subject reported her daughters got into a fight on location with neighbor’s kids. Unknown names or clothing description. Extra patrol for the night.
  • Warrant Attempt – Wheel House Lane
  • Assault – Maple Way. Complainant advised he was playing in the Rose Ison area, when a group of juveniles started to physically harm him. Complainant was checked out by EMS. Report taken
  • Dispute – Gatewood Way – Subject was arrested for Disorderly Conduct after an altercation over music at this location.
  • Dispute – Lacy St. Two subjects got into a verbal dispute. One subject was advised of how not providing the appropriate information during an investigation can result in the charge of obstruction, parties immediately separated. The accurate information was gained. All ok.
  • Unknown Problem/Dispute – Creekside Way in reference to Two subjects verbally disputing over one subject possibly driving intoxicated. Report taken.
  • Meet with Officer – Walker Dr. in reference to the complainant’s neighbor driving through his yard. Complainant advised his neighbors were messing up his grass. Subjects were served with criminal trespass warnings.
  • Entering Auto – Lacy St. in reference to complainant having her firearm stolen out of her 2012 Chevrolet Malibu during the night. No serial number provided.
  • Mental Person – W. Spring St. – Piedmont Walton in reference to a woman with a signed mental evaluation leaving the location. The female returned prior to arrival. All okay.
  • Entering Auto – Mears St. in reference to a Kia Optima and Chevrolet truck on location being entered. The two complainants stated the only thing found to be missing was the insurance card to the Kia. Report taken. A neighbor in the area flagged me down and stated he observed two juvenile females and one juvenile male approximately 12 to 14 years old walking in the area late in the night. He advised the two females were wearing back packs. No other information could be provided.
  • Entering Auto – Felker St. Complainant stated his Toyota Tacoma was entered this morning possibly around 0230 hours. His Horizon Roofing business cards, Carolina beef jerky, and loose change were taken. Report taken.
  • Dispute – Kingsridge Dr. in reference to two subjects verbally disputing over one subject getting home late. Situation mediated.
  • Hit and Run – S. Madison Ave. and E. Vine St.t in reference to a silver Town and Country van with damage on the front right side leaving the scene. Driver is a heavy-set B/F with bright red hair. Vehicle turned right onto Pannell Road towards the County. BOLO given to Walton County Sheriff’s Office. No injuries. Report taken.
  • Follow Up – Towler St. in reference to two subjects locating the stolen four-wheeler from a previous case. The four-wheeler was removed by the complainant and taken back to the owner. Supplemental added to the original report.
