The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Feb. 4 – 11, 2021. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the fourth part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Dispute – North Broad St. Suzzies Wings. Luther Lucas wanting ex girlfriend to return property which included a gun. Attempted contact at below residence.
Juvenile Complaint at 717 Lacy St Apt A. In reference to the complainant’s 8-year-old son, who ran away from the residence after an argument. Juvenile returned home prior to Officer arrival. All ok.
Dispute – Creek View Ct. In reference to a dispute with someone over a social security number per the complainant. Subject was unable to provide useful information towards the proposed issue. All was determined to be ok.
Fraud – S Hammond Dr. In reference to the complainant’s credit card. Complainant advised her Home Depot credit card had been used three times since January 5. Report taken.
Dispute – Knight St. In reference to the complainant advising that there is a verbal dispute between them and their girlfriend over property. Civil issues amongst parties who were going through a breakup.
Dispute – Knight St. In reference to the complainant advising that the ex-girlfriend is back on location with their son attempting to fight. Civil issue over property.
Other Law – Creek View Ct. In reference to the complainant advised that an subject kicked their door in a couple nights ago. No door was damaged, and the subject was advised to contact the social security office to have her number monitored. All ok
Unknown Law – Creek View Ct. In reference to a female crying. Subject was upset over a money issue. Appeared to be having a mental episode. Refused medical treatment.
Suspicious vehicle -South Hammond Dr. and East Church St. Ref to the complainant advising a black Kia was Failure to maintain Lane while traveling on E Church St. Vehicle was stopped for an expired tag. All appeared ok and the driver was given a verbal warning.
Assault – South Broad St., Southside MHP. In ref to subject getting peppered sprayed by Another subject. Subject advised other subject to get off his property multiple times. Subject stated that he does not trust subject due to his history. The complainant declined a report to be made. All parties were advised of remedies.
Harassment – West Spring St., Shane’s Rib Shack. Report of employee harassing and threatening another employee. Subject advised not to come back to location, report made.
Request to meet – Hickory Dr. Complainant wanted to show officer a video of an attempted entering auto. 3 persons tried entering locked vehicle around 0100 hours. Nothing taken, extra patrol requested.
Follow up – Barron Dr. The suspect from yesterdays’ theft on location with stolen property. Units granted access to the residence by the leaseholder. Stolen pistol out of Lawrenceville PD located, the male and a female suspect arrested.
