MPD Reports: Two drunk men taken to the hospital after falling and knocking themselves out

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Oct. 31 to Nov. 7, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the third part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Dispute – Murphy USA: Complainant stated that she had a patron causing a disturbance. The subject was gone on arrival in a Nissan Titan before Law Enforcement Arrival. 
  • Traffic Stop – E. Fambrough x S. Broad on a red Chev Silverado who had a ball hitch obscuring the tag. The driver was wanted for Violation of Probation out of Henry County. Arrest made.
  • Animal Complaint – E. Washington St. Complainant stated her k9 was attacked. Her k9 had a small cut she stated that she spoke with the other k9 owner and all was ok, no report requested.
  • Dispute – W. Fambrough Street: Complainant had a verbal dispute with her brother in reference to the living arrangements. The Civil Process was explained to all parties. The situation was mediated and both parties separated.
  • Unconscious Male – Davis St. in reference to two males laid out on the ground at this location heavily intoxicated and hit their heads on the ground. Subjects were turned over to EMS and taken to Piedmont-Walton. Report made.
  • Shoplifting – W. Spring St. Subject on location attempting to shoplift. He was arrested and released on copy of citation.
  • Shoplifting – E. Spring St. in reference to a black female and two black males attempting to take a headlight from the store. The headlight was returned, subjects were gone upon arrival.
  • Suspicious Vehicle – Hwy 78 / Youth Monroe Rd: Complainant advises a white Hyundai failure to maintain lane coming into Monroe City Limits. Unable to catch up with the vehicle turned over to Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
  • EMS Assist – W. Spring St. (Haven Inn). Female on location stating she had been drinking all day and wanted to go to the hospital. Turned over to EMS.
  • Theft – W. Spring St. at Piedmont Walton. Complainant advised her son has her vehicle and personal possessions. She advised she did not want to press any charges and was heavily intoxicated.
  • Verbal Dispute – E. Spring St. Complainant called 911 on his girlfriend that was causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, the girlfriend left the scene.
  • Assault – S. Madison Ave Complainant was assaulted by two subjects in front of Pine Park St. at approximately 1600 hours on today’s day date. Report was taken.
  • Suspicious person – Entrance to Heritage Park Subdivision. Three white males on bikes with book bags observed coming out of a neighborhood in the county and heading into the city. Subjects identified and WCSO arrived to identify subjects in reference to potential property crimes inside the county. All ok.
  • Traffic Stop – N. Broad St; Female subject was arrested for outstanding Walton County warrants.
  • Dog complaint – Felker St. The complainant locked 2 dogs in his back yard because they were going after his rabbit. Animal Control was contacted.
  • Prowler – Ford St.; Complainant reported her daughter saw someone around the residence around 2300 hours, Area checked without contact, Extra patrol requested,
