MPD Reports: Unsuccessful attempt to abscond and disputes over car keys, wrong food orders

The City of Monroe reported the following incidents for the period March 8 – 13, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into six parts. This is the second part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Dispute – Atha St.: Female and Male disputing over keys. Female was attempting to prevent Male from driving drunk from the residence. No report of physical violence, report taken.
  • Dispute – Huddle House. Female and Male subjects were issued criminal trespass warnings due to arguing with staff on location. They were upset due to their order being wrong. Dispute mediated.
  • Traffic Stop – W. Marable St/N. Broad Street. Subject arrested for driving while license suspended. Released on copy of citation. Report taken.
  • Unknown/Stabbing – Green St.: Complainant Mother stated her son stabbed her in her left arm. She stated they were arguing over his life choices. Report Taken.
  • Damage To Property – Carver Pl.: Complainant advised he wanted a report done in reference to a Juvenile damaging the side door of his residence. Report Taken.
  • Vehicle Collison – Hwy 138/ W. Spring St.: 2 Vehicles involved. 1 complaint of injuries. 1 vehicle towed by Jay’s towing service. Report taken.
  • Warrant Attempt – S. Broad St.: Connica Lackey arrested on Felony Probation Warrant.
  • Traffic Stop – N. Broad St/Sorrells St. Jamie Holtzclaw arrested for Possession of Schedule II, driving under the influence -drugs, and Failure to Maintain Lane. Vehicle towed by Taylor’s
  • Suspicious Vehicle – W. Spring St/Hwy 138 -Anonymous complainant stated a vehicle was dragging a piece of metal. Vehicle exited city limits prior to arrival. Notified WCSO.
  • Damage to Property – Irving St.: complainant stated that someone, at an unknown time yesterday struck her parked car. Minor damage, Complainant advised she as going to call her insurance to see if she needs a report, declined one at this time.
  • Traffic stop – N Broad at Perry St – Subject was arrested for driving while license suspended.
  • Traffic Stop – E. Church and Ash St.: William Watson arrested for local Walton County Sheriff’s Office warrants after a brief unsuccessful attempt to abscond. William also received citations for disorderly conduct and bicycle equipment violations.
  • Mental Subject – 4th St. ref:  Mental subject advising four men tried to grab him. While on scene subject advised this was the 10th time this has taken place and it appeared that he was having hallucinations.  Mother of subject arrived on scene and took him to her house for the night.
