MPD Reports: Vehicle allegedly sold as scrap by mechanic doing repairs on it

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period April 26 – 30, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the second part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Suspicious Person – E. Washington St. – Post Office: Subject on scene loitering in Post Office. Subject was referred to FISH and provided a room at Haven Inn.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Complainant reported 13-Year-old male was being unruly. Situation mediated.
  • Dispute – Pine Park St.: Subjects on scene fighting over noise complaints. All parties advised they did not desire prosecution at this time, no injuries. Parties warned of disorderly conduct ordinances. All ok.
  • Dispute – Pine Park St.: Reference further physical altercation. Only one party still on scene, denied prosecution.
  • Suspicious Vehicle – Pine Park: During an extended foot patrol/surveillance a suspicious vehicle was located on scene. Christian Bolden and Marquavious Yelder were both inside with odor of narcotics and firearms in plain view. Christian arrested for Possession of Schedule II, and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Marquavious arrested for Possession of Schedule I substance with intent to distribute and drug-related object. Both were released to the custody of Walton County jail.
  • Assault – Double Springs Church Rd. – MAHS. Juvenile was assaulted by her mother sometime last night at Tall Oaks E. Report taken.
  • Dispute – E. Spring St. – Dollar General in reference to a subject making threats to Complainant. Report taken.
  • Warrant Served – Davis St. ref: Jessica Rosales being on location. Jessica Rosales was placed under arrest and transported to the Walton County Jail without incident. Report taken.
  • Area Check – Davis St. / Pine Park St. in reference to a stop sign being down. Area was checked by Walton County Sheriff’s Office, DOT was notified.
  • Fraud – Sorrells St.- Complainant advised she was approved for a loan through Advance America. She advised the company sent a falsified check through her account and was requesting her to send money back to them through Google Play cards. Report Taken
  • Stolen Vehicle – S Broad St. Raymond Boss advised an unknown B/M was going to fix his transmission on a 2005 Van. The shop is located at N. Broad St. The mechanic allegedly sold the vehicle for scrap metal. No further information at this time.
