MPD Reports: Woman arrested after slitting tires during dispute; teen runaway hospitalized after overdosing

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Dec. 12 – 18, 2025. Due to the length, this report has been split into three parts. This is the second part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

• Juvenile Complaint – Booth Dr – In reference to subject breaking complainant’s I-Phone. A juvenile complaint was completed. Report taken.
• Vehicle unlock – N Broad St @ Waffle House – Vehicle unlocked no damage.
• Welfare Check – Pine Park St – Third party caller wishing for welfare check on juveniles at the address, all was okay.
• Suspicious Vehicle – S. Broad St. E. Church -In reference to a dark-colored SUV failing to maintain lane. The vehicle was not located.
• Dispute – GW Carver Dr – In reference to a dispute between complainant and a named female subject. During the dispute the female subject used a knife to slit complainant’s tire. She was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass and was transported to Walton County Jail without incident.
• Loud Music – Tanglewood Dr – Subjects advised to turn music down.
• Loud Music – Chestnut Ln- Caller advised loud music in the area, contact was made with a subject with loud music from a golf cart. He was advised to turn the music down.
• 911 Open Line – W. Spring St Subway – In reference to open line with static online. Business was checked all appeared to be okay.
• Suspicious Vehicle – Dogwood Dr-Vehicle logged on location, no contact with owner
• Vehicle Unlock – Aycock Ave – Registered owner not on location and unable to be reached. No action taken.
• Other Law – MLK Jr Blvd – Reference to friend accidentally discharging his AR into his vehicle. Report taken, advised of civil process.
• Harassing Calls – Pine Park ST – In reference to complainant receiving harassing calls from her children’s father. Remedies advised.
• Dispute – Harris St- Situation mediated, HX of 10-96
• Harassment – McDaniel Street – In reference to subject showing up earlier this date looking for the complainant’s daughter, who resides elsewhere. The complainant requested that if contact is made with subject that he be criminally trespassed from their property indefinitely.
• Traffic Stop – Hwy 78 WB / Hwy 138 – In reference to subject driving his vehicle with no insurance. The vehicle was turned over to Taylors without incident.
• Juvenile Runaway – W Spring St; Piedmont Walton – In reference to 17-year-old being dropped off at Piedmont Walton, after having ingesting an overdose of over the counter acetaminophen
and aspirin. She was placed under a 1013 by the ER doctor for an evaluation. Upon her arrival, she had advised the hospital staff that she was a runaway juvenile from Dacula, GA. It was confirmed with dispatch that she was in fact listed as a runaway out of Lawrenceville PD. They were notified of her being located. Her legal guardian was on location at the hospital with her.
• Suspicious vehicle – Hwy 78 @ Unisia Dr – Caller advised a truck traveling towards Oconee County failing to maintain lane. No contact made inside city limits.
• Disabled Vehicle – E Spring St / Blaine St – In reference to a passenger car that was disabled in the roadway due to a mechanical issue. The vehicle was pushed out of the roadway by Officers and the registered owner will make the appropriate arrangements in the morning.
• Area Check – Victory Ln – In reference to the complainant advising that something was pointed at his residence and he could feel it. All appeared normal.
• Fire Assist – Lopez Ln – In reference to a single story residence fully engulfed in flames. Turned over to Monroe and Walton Fire.
• Other Law – Belle Meade – In reference to the complainant hearing noises outside. The exterior of the residences was checked on foot. All ok.
• Business Alarm – Unisia Drive: Hitachi – Business and fire alarm for building 1. Monroe Fire Department located the sprinkler system activated in building 2. Turned over to MFD.
• Funeral Escort – Carwood Drive / West Spring Street – Intersections blocked for Walton County Sheriff’s Office for a funeral escort.
• Accident – Old Mill Point – 2 vehicle accident with no injuries, Gears report
• Suspicious Person – E Washington St (Post Office) – Male filming post office for story he is working on. Male is on the sidewalk and not on Post Office property. I explained to the complainant that the male is not violating any laws and has a right to film in public.
• Suspicious Person – E Washington St (Synovus) – Male from earlier filming the bank from the sidewalk across from the bank. I explained to the complainant that the male is not violating any laws and has a right to film in public.
• Welfare Check – Plaza Trace – Anonymous welfare check called in on four juveniles. Contact was made with the father, grandmother, and all four juveniles on location. No signs of abuse or criminal activity. Report taken.
• Suspicious Vehicle – Highway 78 Wb / Highway 138 – In reference to a black Nissan PC unable to maintain lane. Turned over to WCSO due to not being in the area.
• Hit and run accident – 2 vehicles no injuries, Gears report
• Hit and Run – E Spring St; Fish – In reference to the complainant advising someone struck her vehicle in the parking lot of the Fish between the hours of 1600 and 1730 Hours. Visible damage was observed to complainant rear right tail light. A GEARS report was completed and turned over to Traffic for further investigation.
• Accident with injury – N Broad St at Pavilion Parkway. In reference to a two vehicle collision. Report completed in GEARS. One vehicle towed by Taylor’s Towing.
• Mechanical Breakdown – Hwy 78, Hwy 11-Vehicle was out of the roadway with a flat tire. Driver advised she had someone coming to help her change it. Everything okay.
• Mechanical Breakdown – Hwy 78, Hwy 11- In reference to a red semi-truck broken down on the on-ramp. Negative contact with any disabled semi-truck.
• Directing Traffic – Hwy 78, Hwy 138- In reference to call #4. Traffic was blocked to allow for the aforementioned semi-truck to return to the roadway.
• Traffic Stop/Arrest – North Broad Street, Perry Street- In reference to a traffic stop conducted for a defective headlight. It was discovered that the passenger had an active arrest warrant out of Hall County Sheriff’s Office. He was placed under arrest and transported to WCSO without incident.
• Dispute – Ash Ln – In reference to the complainant and her son involved in a verbal dispute over their living arrangements. Both parties agreed to separate for the night and discuss son’s living arrangements the following day. Remedies advised.
• Alarm – W Spring St; Ollies. All windows and doors secured, all appeared ok.
• Animal Complaint – Ash St – In reference to the complainant advising of two pit bulls in his yard. The complainant was advised to notify animal control on the following business day if animals were not aggressive.
• Vehicle vs building collision – W Spring St; J&J Brick – In reference to subject losing control of his vehicle after leaving Taco Bell and wrecking J&J Brick. He was cited for FTML and striking a fixed object. Vehicle towed by Taylor’s. GEARS report completed.
• Warrant Attempt – Highland Terrace- In reference to locating a wanted subject, negative contact.
• Warrant Attempt – Booth Drive- In reference to locating a wanted subject, negative contact.
• Business Alarm – West Spring Street, Peachtree Immediate Care- All windows and doors secured, no signs of forced entry or foul play.
• Foot Patrol – Henson Drive- All okay.
• EMS Assist – Ridge Road – In reference to the complainant attempting to make EMS take his sister to the hospital (she has stage 4 cancer). She did not want to go. Complainant was advised that no one could force her to go to the hospital if she did not want to. Sister stated that she just wanted to go back to bed. Situation mediated.
• Business Alarm – Plaza Dr, Davita-Alarm activated mistakenly by the employees. Everything okay.
• Enter Auto – Bridgeport Pl: In reference to complaints vehicle entered between 1900 and time of call. A tool bag, a pistol magazine and various other items taken. Report taken.
• Business Alarm – Unisia Drive: Hitachi – Business and fire alarm for building 1. MFD located the sprinkler system activated in building 2. TOT MFD.
• Alarm – Meadow View Dr- All doors and windows secure. All appeared ok.
• Vehicle Unlock – West Spring Street @ Marathon; Vehicle opened, no damage.
• Funeral Escort – Carwood Drive / West Spring Street – Intersections blocked for WCSO for a funeral escort.
