Before taking on the new 2020 business in Loganville, newly-elected City Councilman Bill DuVall and returning Councilmembers Jay Boland and Linda Dodd were sworn in by Loganville City Attorney Robyn Webb. Retiring City Councilman Skip Baliles gave an emotional farewell and was given an affectionate send-off by fellow council members who had served with him during his two terms in office. Baliles, after voicing his support for term limits, term-limited himself and opted last year not to seek a third term. DuVall was elected in his stead to begin his first term and Boland and Dodd were reelected. The three were elected as at-large candidates. The candidates had their families present for the occasion.
