New restaurants under construction in Loganville

Del-Taco is already in the process of hiring for key positions

There are a couple of new restaurants under construction in Loganville and another expected to locate in the former Pizza Hut building in the near future. Details on that, however, are not being revealed at this time.

What is known is that the construction of the new Del Taco restaurant building located at 3975 Atlanta Highway is well underway and the company is already looking for key staff for the new restaurant. According to the Del Taco website, the restaurant is the second leading quick-service Mexican restaurant in the nation. The Loganville location is one of four that the company planned to add in Georgia this year along with others in Riverdale, Fayetteville and Conyers. In announcing the additional restaurants, Del Taco’s marketing manager Barry Westrum noted that “Del Taco is committed to offering its guests a unique variety of Mexican favorites prepared fresh in every restaurant’s working kitchen. Another restaurant headed for Loganville and currently being permitted is Diablos Southwestern Grill which will be located at 4685 Atlanta Highway, Suite 500, the new strip mall reconstruction across from Quick-Trip where the old Chevron gas station was located. Described as where Southwest meets fresh, Diablos also offers tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos and salads, “always done fresh.” 

There also is the Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen that is going in on Highway 78 at Lee Byrd Road.
