News and events: First Presbyterian Church of Monroe

This Sunday (3/5) is the First Sunday in Lent. We begin at 9:15a with food and conversation at the Breakfast Table.  Sunday School, for all ages, follows at 9:45a.  At our traditional 11a worship service, Pastor George Rogers’ sermon, “It’s a Sign”, is based on John 2.1-11.

Please join us on Wed 3/8 at noon as we host the first of five community-wide Lenten Worship & Lunch events.  The offering will go to FISH Ministries.

On Mon (3/6) our New Day Circle meets at the church at 10a.  And on Thu (3/9) a7 6:30p our Viticulture group will meet at the home of some church members.

You’re invited to attend our Zumba class on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6p in our Fellowship Hall.  Tuesdays at 10a, come to our Pastor’s Bible Study; our current focus is the book of Acts.  Men are invited to our Man’s Cave on Thursdays at 10a; we enjoy refreshments and solve the world’s problems.

FPC is proud to sponsor Boy Scout Troop #705 and Cub Scout Pack #705.

We’re a friendly bunch growing in its love and obedience to Jesus, and we’d love to have you join us for any and all of our activities. We’re located at the corner of Breedlove and McDaniel. Visit us. Scout us out beforehand at:
