The City of Loganville is preparing for its annual Independence Celebration and is excited to announce the Oberman Law Firm has signed on to be the headline sponsor for the July 1st activities.
“The Oberman Law Firm serving as the headline sponsor for our Independence Celebration is just another great example of how our business community really steps up to support and give back to this community,” said Kristy Peters, events and marketing director for the City of Loganville. “This year we have added a band to the festivities and made some changes to the parade, but none of this would be possible without the support of the Oberman Law Firm and each of our sponsors for this special day.”

Event organizers have shifted the events from the morning to the afternoon, with the Oberman Law Firm Independence Celebration beginning at 4:30 p.m. with a parade down Main Street. Applications are currently being accepted for participants in the parade and can be found online at http://loganvilleevents.com/assets/independence-parade-application2017.pdf or requests can be made by email to kpeters@loganville-ga.gov.
Following the parade, there will be a stage set up on the field next to the American Legion Post 233 where the Stephen Lee band will offer live music beginning at 7 p.m. There will be no parking available at the site and those interested are encouraged to park in the Ingles shopping center and make the short walk to the field. The Legion will be open, offering those interested a place to take a break from the heat and enjoy food and beverages both inside at the Main Hall and in the covered pavilion located on the property. Parking at the Legion will be reserved for customers only.

The Oberman Law Firm Independence Celebration will conclude with a fireworks show beginning at dark. The fireworks will be visible from both the Ingles and Kroger shopping centers.
“As a firm, we are extremely proud to be a part of this special (July 4th) celebration. Loganville is an extraordinary place to live, work, and play. The Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks is a special day for the City of Loganville and the community and we are honored to be a part of the celebration,” said Stuart J. Oberman, president and founder of the Oberman Law Firm.
