Betty Jewell Malcom, age 83, of Good Hope, died on February 22, 2017.

She was born in Walton County on January 22, 1934 to the late Ruby Ernestine Wood Dalton and the late Charlie Thomas Dalton. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late John William (Billy Gus) Malcom, Jr.; sister, the late Edna Mae Roberts; and brother, the late Charles Mandford Dalton. Surviving are: son and daughter in law, William and Mary Malcom of Good Hope; sisters and brothers in law, Sue and Randy Witcher, Dorothy and John O’Kelley, Carol and Cliff Coker, Jane and Truman Robison, Marie and Larry Wilkerson; brothers and sisters in law, Bobby and Myrtle Dalton, Douglas and Barbara Dalton, Tommy Dalton; grandchildren, Cody Malcom, Brittany Malcom, Kelsey Malcom; and 4 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Good Hope Christian Church with Rev. Doyle Wallace officiating.
