Leola B. Lanier, age 92 of Loganville, GA passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 4, 2017 in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
A longtime member of Mt Carmel Christian Church in Stone Mountain, Mrs. Lanier enjoyed going to the beach with her family, gardening, her pets, and playing cards with her friends. Leola’s family has always been her greatest treasure. She is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Augusta Barker, her sister Elaine LeMaster, her daughter-in-law Debbie Lanier and her loving husband of 54 years Lloyd Lanier. Surviving are her son: James L. Lanier, Jr. of Snellville; daughters & sons-in-law: Jan & Tim Bramble of Loganville, Judy and Joe Hale of Atlanta, Seven Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
