Obituary and funeral home: Bobby Wayne Wellborn, 65, of Monroe

Bobby Wayne Wellborn, age 65, of Monroe, died on May 31, 2017. He was born in Jonesboro, GA on May 23, 1952 to the late Lelia Roberts Wellborn and the late Robert Lewis Wellborn. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Matilda Wellborn. He is survived by his daughter, Melessia Griffith of Monroe; son, Richard Wellborn of Monroe; sisters, Carol Wynn of Bryan, TX Cathy Persichetti of Monroe; brother and sister in law, Ray and Linda Wellborn of Social Circle; grandchildren, Benjamin Griffith and Priscilla Griffith.

Funeral services are Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Gloria Farmer, Rev. Janie Autry, and Rev. Wayne Hicks officiating.
