Joan had a passion taking pictures of her family and friends so she could look back on them and enjoy the memories. She enjoyed going camping many places, especially Myrtle Beach. Joan loved to read all her life and was never without her books or later in life her Kindle.
Joan loved to talk to her family and friends for hours at a time. In her later years she found she could reach more people through modern technology with Facebook. She would spend hours on Facebook catching up with friends and family, enjoying their pictures and posts. She even made friends with people she never met in person. That is just the kind of person Joan was. She never met a stranger.
