Anne Lynes Kelley, age 85 of Loganville, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Chaplain Jimmy F. Orr officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Anne was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to the late Gene and Donna (Mill) Lynes. From the age of 5, Anne wanted to be a nurse. After high school, she came to Atlanta to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Emory University. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Emory for many years, and was beloved by her patients and colleagues. Anne’s other great passion was raising her daughters, and then enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Dennis Franklin. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Monica Kelley (Bruno Chaouat) of St. Paul, MN and Katie Kelley Franklin of Loganville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Stewart (Dorrit) Lynes of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Franklin of Loganville, GA, Mitchell (Megan) Franklin of Loganville, GA, Theodore Chaouat of St. Paul, MN, and Rivkah Chaouat-Kelley of Boston, MA; great grandchildren, Codi, Blake, Kennedy, Callahan and Cooper; the father of her children, Stanley (Tina) Kelley of Loganville, GA; numerous family and friends.
