Betty Jean Moon Hale, age 89 of Monroe, passed away on March 19, 2021. She was born in Monroe on April 19, 1931 to the late Richard Carl Moon and the late Mildred Breedlove Moon. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Bob Adams Hale; her brother, the late Neal Moon; and her sister, Charlotte Frost.
Surviving are, daughter, Susan Hale Winter; son and daughter in law, Richard and Sheryl Hale; 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 23rd at 2:30 PM at Mt Vernon Christian Church with the Rev. Scott Frost officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
