Betty Jo Watkins, age 77, of Monroe, passed away on February 15, 2021. She was born in Tuscaloosa, AL, on January 17, 1944 to the late Irene Burroughs and the late Edgar Burroughs.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Theo Watkins of Monroe; sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Samantha Watkins of Grayson, Dustin and Amie Watkins of Grayson; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sandra Burroughs of Tuscaloosa; and grandchildren: Madison and Devin Buckman of Loganville, Parker Watkins of Monroe, and Hayden Watkins of Grayson.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Monroe Church of God. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Barry Peavy officiating.
Interment will be at Pate Cemetery on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Buhl, AL.
