Obituary and funeral service: Carol Clydene ‘Baker’ Carter

Carol Clydene (Baker) Carter, age 82 of Loganville, passed away on March 14, 2021. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Loganville.

Carol was born on August 10, 1938 in Loganville to the late Perry Clyde Baker and Cora Lucile (Bentley) Baker. Carol was a devoted member of Center Hill Baptist Church, which she joined in 1966, and enjoyed her work in the infant nursery there. She loved making ceramics (especially Christmas trees), gardening, and vacations. Carol was a loving person to all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Carol is survived by her husband of 66 years, Thomas Eugene Carter of Loganville; daughter & son-in-law, Debra Jean & Daniel McKee of Snellville; grandsons, Brendan Drew & Ashli McKee of Atlanta, Erin Kayne & Michelle McKee of Gainesville; great grandson, Brayden Carter McKee of Gainesville; sister, Miriam Sue Biggers of Loganville; nephew, William Kyle Biggers of Loganville; great nephew, William Blake Biggers of Loganville; as well as numerous Bentley cousins who are not mentioned, but much loved.
