Donald Wayne Jones, age 76 of Monroe, passed away on March 3, 2021. Mr. Jones was born on September 12, 1944, to the late Harry James Jones and the late Bernice Mildred White Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Ward Jones.
Surviving members of his family are sister, Harriette Walls of Monroe; brother and sister-in-law, Horace (Budger) and Bonnie Jones of Monroe; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Conner and Rev. Wayne Durden officiating. Interment will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park in Candler, North Carolina on Monday, March 8, 2021, at 2:00 pm.
