Obituary and funeral service: Gerald Green, 84, of Loganville

Gerald Green, age 84 of Loganville, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, April 6, 20,19 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Scroggs will officiate. Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Gardens in Monroe. Gerald was born and raised in Starkville, Mississippi to the late Doyle Udene & Ruby Carmichael Green. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed being outdoors. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Majid Tafazoli, and his sister, Munene Pope. He is survived by his Wife of 62 years, Irene Green of Loganville; Children: Kenny & Becky Green of Lilburn; Sharon & Phil Ricks of Cumming; Renea Tafazoli of Augusta; Bryson & Sue Lyn Green of Little Rock, AR; Grandchildren: Andrew Ricks, Mariam Baxter, Kalie Green, Austin Ricks, Sara Head, Karris Green, Hagan Green; Great Grandchildren: Nora Rae Baxter, Naomi Lee Baxter, Noelle Elaine Baxter, and Baby Girl Head is on her way.
