Henry J. “Joey” Moon, age 83 of Loganville, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Grey officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Joey was a member and Deacon at Woodlake Baptist Church and the owner of Moons Grading.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Josiah and Catherine Olivia (Bryant) Moon. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Atha Moon of Loganville; son, Joey “Alex” Moon and friend Brendan Grant of Conyers; sister, Mary Williamson of Conyers; sister-in-law, Marie Beck of Loganville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
