Jacob is loved and will be truly missed by a very large family. Born September 10, 1993, just minutes before his twin brother Jared, Jacob developed a natural athletic ability at a very early age. By age three, Jacob could roller blade and ride a bicycle without training wheels with the skill equal to kids two and three times his age. He attacked those challenges like so many things in his life, he would see the fun other people were having and just GO FOR IT! His natural abilities would shine through whenever he competed in sports, from soccer to basketball to baseball to roller hockey to football to skateboarding, there really was not any sport Jacob did not love. Whether Jacob was hanging out with friends at the river, spending time with family at the lake, or working alongside of coworkers, Jacob was loved by all of those whose lives he touched.
A funeral service will be held to honor Jacob’s life on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Unfortunately, in this unusual time of Pandemic restrictions, his funeral service will only be open to family and invited friends. We know Jacob would not want you to sit around in sorrow, but to gather in your own small groups in the places you enjoyed his presence the most, to celebrate the great memories you shared together. So, pick a place you know he loved – a river, a lake, a skateboard park, or just sitting on the front porch – and remember Jacob and the love he had for each of us. Rest in peace our Son, Brother, Grandson, Uncle, and friend, one day in the future we will reunite again in Heaven.
