Lisa Parker-Wood, age 38 of Loganville, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, May 12, 2019, in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Brown officiating.

Lisa was a 1998 graduate of Loganville High School. She had a Master’s Degree in British Literature from Georgia State University and taught middle school English for 7 years. She was also a realtor with Keller Williams before becoming a stay at home mom. She is survived by her husband, Navy Lt. Micah Wood of Loganville; 2 year old son, Parker Alan Wood; father, Jerry Parker of Loganville; mother, Katie Austin Strickland of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Jeremiah Parker of Marietta, John & Alyson Parker of Winder; brothers-in-law, Todd & Ashley Wood and daughters, Vivian & Abigail of Loganville, Brady & Marti Wood and sons, Ethan & Wylder of Lehi, UT, Jeffrey Wood of Tucker; step-brother, Jason & Kari Ramsey and daughter, Jordan of Lawrenceville; step-sister, Angelyn Ramsey of Snellville; mother-in-law, Nina & John Ramsey of Loganville; father-in-law, Earl Wood of Tucker; grandfather, Alan Brothers of Houston, TX; father, Cash Brothers of Houston, TX; aunt, Margie & William Austin of Nevada City, CA; uncle, John Austin and son, Joseph of Los Lumas, NM.
