Oliver “Butch” Causey, age 72 of Loganville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Oliver had a longstanding career as a Police Officer, working for Dekalb County for 28 years, but had a total of 32 years in law enforcement. He was an avid bowler and was known as a wonderful friend. Oliver enjoyed sharing connections with others and spending time with those friends. He loved his family above all else and will be remembered as a loving father, husband, and grandfather.
Oliver was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Bennett and Jessica Jane (Boyer) Causey. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Tracey Causey; daughters, Candace Maddox and Aubrey Causey; grandson, Jacob Maddox; granddaughter, Julia Maddox; siblings, Jane (David) England, Sam (Linda Sue) Causey, Virginia Causey, and Patrick Causey; several nephews and niece.
