Ovilene Partain, age 92 of Loganville, GA, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday March 20th in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Stancil officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Gardens, 6201 Hillandale Dr, Lithonia, GA.
Ovilene was a devoted member of Rosebud Baptist Church and a woman whose faith in the Lord guided her life. She loved her family deeply and showed it in the way she lived every day as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She made it a point to be present, rarely missing a game, concert, play, or graduation, always there to support her family. Visits to her home were always special, no matter how often you were there, it never felt ordinary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Partain; son, Randy Partain; daughter, Charlene Bowman; parents, Clarence and Flora (Wheeler) Davis; and brothers, Albert Davis and Robert Davis.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Lawrence Bowman of Loganville, GA; grandchildren and spouses, Nicholas and Sara Bowman of Brookhaven, GA, Brandy and Alex Thomas of Decatur, GA; great-grandchildren, Nolan Thomas, Holland Ovilene Thomas, Benjamin Bowman, and Samuel Bowman; and brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Marcella Davis of Temple, GA.
