Rita Joyce (Palmer) Cronan, age 71 of Social Circle, GA, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Travis Wade officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM prior to the service.
Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard T. Cronan; parents, Betty (Berry) & Orrin Palmer. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard L. Cronan (Michelle) of Social Circle, and Patti Pittman (Travis) of Social Circle; grandchildren, Courtney Peters, Ansley Briscoe, Luke Wade, Sydney Cronan, Cheyenne Head, Katrina Pittman, Marissa Pace, Kinslee Pittman, Davis Tyre, Makenzie Murell; great grandchildren, Paisleigh Briscoe, Kohen Briscoe, Kinlee Cronan, Kaylee Slaughter, Kylee Slaughter, Knox Clay, Asher Peters, Stella Peters, Blaze Pittman, Nila Pace, Braylee Pace, Grayson Belcher; numerous family and friends.
