Susan Schilling went to see our Lord and Savior on May 25, 2020, following a long fight with chronic pneumonia. The third daughter of Kennith and Donna Propps, she was born Susan DeAnn Propps on June 28, 1965, in Huntsville, Alabama.
She met and married high school sweetheart, Dennis Schilling, and they began a life full of love and laughter together. Settling in Monroe, Georgia, they enjoyed 36 wonderful years together. She was most proud of her two daughters, Lainey and Mandy.
Susan was preceded by her mother, Donna Propps, and sister, Elaine Propps Williams. Surviving her, in addition to her husband Dennis, are her daughters, De Ann “Lainey” Logan (Husband Dustin Logan) of Fort Worth, Texas and Amanda Schilling of Charleston, South Carolina; her father, Kennith Propps, of Monroe, Georgia; her sister, Alesia Carter (Husband Eddie Carter) of Huntsville, Alabama; brother, Michael Propps, of Johnstown, Colorado and many beloved nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
A graveside service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held Saturday, May 30th at 11:00 am at Hill Haven Memory Gardens at 490 Edmondson Rd NW, Monroe, Georgia 30656.
