Tammy Shirley Tompkins, age 56 of Loganville, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 18, 2021 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Chaplain Rusty Vandeford will officiate. The family will receive friends at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Loganville from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Thursday prior to the service. The family will also receive friends on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM CST at Albertville Memorial Chapel, 5011 US Hwy 431 South, Albertville, AL 35950. 256-878-2424. Tammy graduated from South Gwinnett High School Class of ’82 and had most recently worked for The EZ Stop in Loganville. She loved art, singing, but most importantly spending time with her close friends and family. Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Hipp Shirley, and her cousin, Michael Van Croft. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert Tompkins of Loganville; father, Charles Edward Shirley of Crossville, AL; brother & sister-in-law, Tyler & Maddie Shirley of Maysville; half-brother, Charlie Shirley of Ocean Springs, MS; step-brother, Jacob Taylor of Bremen, AL; and niece, Atti Shirley of Maysville.
