Terry Mitchell, age 76 of Loganville, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2024 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Chaplain Jeff Mitchell, Pastor Ronnie Kendall and Pastor Tony Long officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 6372 Highway 20, Loganville.
Terry served his country honorably in the Army National Guard for 6 years during the Vietnam War. He was a salesman for both Georgia Power and Fujitsu and was also in Real Estate. Terry enjoyed farming and was a member of First Baptist Church Loganville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Thomas and Dorothy Clarice (Carter) Mitchell; and brother, Ricky Mitchell. Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Hannah Gilleland Mitchell of Loganville, GA; son, Jeff Mitchell of Huntsville, AL; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Jeremy Hartzog of Loganville, GA; brothers, Doug Mitchell and Ron Mitchell, both of Loganville, GA; grandchildren, Joshua Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell, Jeslyn Mitchell, Jacie Mitchell, Ethan Hartzog, Sadie Hartzog, and Asa Hartzog; numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to First Baptist Church Loganville Mission Fund, 680 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052. The family will receive friends 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the service at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052. 770-466-1544.
