Obituary and funeral service: Thomas ‘Tommy’ Dunn, 82, of Monroe

Thomas “Tommy” Dunn, age 82 of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 2, 2019, in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Faircloth officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mtn., GA. Tommy was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Norcom, Inc. where he was a Plant Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sara Grimsley Dunn, brother, Billy Dunn and he is survived by his loving wife, Mary Dunn of Monroe; Son & Daughter-in-law: Randall & Deborah Dunn of Gainesville; Daughters & Sons–in-law: Janice & Byron Land of Monroe and Phyllis & Ronney Hamilton of Lawrenceville; Granddaughters & Grandsons-in-law: Randi Lea & Darrell Dickens of Loganville, Jessica & Marco Almeida of Loganville, Brittney & Chris Hall of Bethlehem; Grandson: Garrett Lee of Buford; Great Grandchildren: Emma, Adler, Luke, Francesca and Viviana; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Bobby & Beverly Dunn of Suwanee and Lamar & Solange Dunn of Ball Ground.
