Obituary and funeral services: Chester Eugene ‘Chet’ Skinner, 60, of Loganville

Chester Eugene Skinner, II, aka: Poopsie Pops, was born on October 8, 1957 and passed away on August 11, 2018. Most people knew him as “Chet.”
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Robin Skinner; son, Chester Eugene “Bubba” Skinner, III; Daughter, Christina Skinner; grandchildren, Savanah and Scarlett; father, Chester Eugene “Pappy” Skinner; mother, Jerri Green; sister, Lori Courson; and brother, Ron Thomas Skinner.
Chet was a loving, caring, giving and wonderful husband, father and grandfather, even though he could be a “Grumpy Poopsie Pops” He loved his Dawgs, fixing things, and most of all his family. He will forever be missed by all that knew him and loved him.
A visitation will be Monday, August 13, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Stephens officiating. Interment follows at Barrow Memorial Garden.
