Doris B. Camp, age 92, died Thursday, November 12, 2020, after an extended illness. Doris was born in 1928 in Dawsonville, Georgia, the oldest sister of her deceased brother Ervin Burt. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Grayson. After being a homemaker and making the raising of her two sons a priority, she worked and retired from JC Penney / Treasury Drugs. She was married 59 years to James Hassell Camp, retired captain of the Atlanta Fire Department, now deceased. She is survived by sons and wives, James Albert and Darlene Camp, Covington, and J. Tony and Deborah Camp, Loganville, grandsons and wives, Michael and Anne Marie Camp, Loganville, Anthony and Sarah Camp, Loganville, Mitchell and Charis Camp, Monroe, and Andrew Camp, Round Hill, Virginia. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, Reagan, Reese, Maddox and Madison Camp. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lillian and daughter Karen Burt, Smyrna, and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives. The family will receive family and friends Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Monday, November 16, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville, GA 30078. 770-979-5010. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 16, 2020 in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home.
