Edith Agnes McKinney Reeser, age 82 of Loganville, GA, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. Aggie, as she was fondly known by her family and friends, was preceded in death by her mother, Inez Ayers; her father, Nathen McKinney; and her sister, Dorothy Crunkleton. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Miller (Al Hennigan); her nieces, Robin Stephens, Lorah (Brandon) Hays, Caroline Stephens, Tinsleigh Hays and Ellington Stephens; and nephew Matt (Cynthia) Stephens.
Aggie was a native of Highlands, North Carolina. She attended Franklin High School and Highlands High School. She worked for Bonner Construction but spent most of her working career working for Keebler Cookie Company in Atlanta until the plant closed in the early 1990’s. She also worked for Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee, North Carolina, and spent the last 10 years of her working career with Walmart in Centerville, GA.
She was a dedicated mother and aunt, and animal lover. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations could be made to the Shelbyville-Bedford County Humane Association www.shelbyvillebedfordhumane.org.
A Gathering to honor and celebrate the life of Edith Agnes McKinney Reeser will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel.
