Obituary and funeral services: Eva Ressie Casper, 74, of Monroe

Eva Ressie Casper, age 74, of Monroe, died January 30, 2018. She was born on March 22, 1943 to the late Dora Stapp and the late Lester Lee Stapp. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Franklin Delano Casper, and by her son, the late James Brian Casper.

Surviving are: son and daughter in law, Frankie and Cathy Casper of Monroe; sisters and brothers in law, Elsie and Sammy Slaton of Monroe; Dot and Wayne Brady of Monroe, Elizabeth Conner of Monroe, Patricia and William Thomas of Monroe, Sara and Steve Jones of Monroe; brother and sister in law, Thurmond and Gloria Stapp of Covington.

Funeral services were Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Durden officiating. Entombment followed at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.
