Florence Gunter Hale Knight, age 92 of Monroe, passed away on June 14, 2019. She was born on May 28, 1927 to the late James Fred Gunter and the late Ruby Breedlove Gunter. She was preceded in death by her husbands, the late Euphrates Lee Hales, Jr. and the late Harry Knight.
Surviving are: Sons and Daughters in Law, Kenneth and Connie Hale of Monroe, Wayne and Sue Hale of Good Hope; Daughters, DeVeda and Doug Knight Powell of Gaithersburg, MD; Sisters and Brother in Law, Marylena Rowland of Lexington, Runelle and Max Laseter of Monroe; Brothers and Sisters in Law; Jack Gunter of Atlanta, Fred and Ann Gunter of Augusta; Grandchildren, Matt and Amy Hale of Warner Robins, Tara and Jason Phelps of Monroe, Jill and Shannon Broach of Monroe, Kerie and Matt Garrett of Good Hope, Nicole and Matt Jacobs of Gaithersburg, and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 17th at 2:00 PM at Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Brant Callaway officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Please sign the guestbook online at www.meadowsfuneralhomeinc.com.
