Obituary and funeral services: Gabriel Halton Johnson, 20, of Monroe

Gabriel Halton Johnson, age 20 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 10, 2019, in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Brian Widmer will officiate. Interment location to be announced.

Gabe was an organ donor and through his life, others will be changed. Gabe graduated from Monroe Area High School in 2017 and was attending Athens Technical College. He was a member of Grace Monroe and he loved the Lord. Gabe loved fishing and making music. His contagious laugh, beautiful eyes, and pure heart will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Gabe is survived by his parents, Kenny & Tracy Johnson of Monroe; Sister & Brother-in-law: Briona & Jacob Hooper of Monroe; Brother: Bryce Johnson of Monroe; Nieces: Brylee & Isabella Hooper; Grandparents: Linda Smith of Buford; Karen & Steve Miller of Fort Walton Beach, FL; Linda & Charles Johnson of Bethlehem; Aunts & Uncles: Celina & Rick Darwin of Chattanooga, TN; Chuck Johnson, Jr. of Bethlehem; Jeremiah Bigham of Watkinsville; and Girlfriend: Tessa Thompson of Watkinsville.
