Jim Williams Hope was born James Tate Williams, Jr. on August 21, 1932, at 1080 Oak Street. Jim was a loving father, amazing husband, proud native Atlantan, successful mortgage broker, and fierce UGA football fan! Go Dawgs..woof, woof!
Jim lived every day to its fullest! Ran 29 Peachtree Road Races, drove Miss Georgia for 23 years in the Peach Bowl Parade and owned 11 Corvettes over his lifetime.
A graduate of Chamblee High, UGA, and Brenau University, Jim was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a past president of the Georgia Mortgage Brokers Association and owned his own business, I.C.S., Inc. Jim was a faithful volunteer with F.I.S.H. of Walton in Monroe and belonged to Loganville First United Methodist Church.
Jim had two beautiful, accomplished goddaughters, Caysa and Rylee Manning and a beloved step-granddaughter..his Addie Kaye!
Jim is survived by his wife, Connie M. Hope; son, Bill Hope and wife, Vonda; son, Jim P. Hope and Wendy Angela; grandson, Brice Hope and wife Alison and their children, Maddie, Ty, Jack, Louie, Mia, and Bryson; and grandson, Brett Hope and Mi Her, and their daughter, Victoria.
