Larry Gene Martin, age 69 of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Loganville First United Methodist Church. Dr. Bob Hoffman will officiate.

Mr. Martin worked for Newton County and was a member of the Loganville First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his Wife: Beckie Martin of Monroe; Daughter & Son-in-law: Laurie & Lance Carter of Loganville; Step Children: Jennifer & Christopher Houck of Monroe; Brian & Ashley Moran of Griffin; Mother: Frances Martin of Conyers; Grandchildren: TJ Sparks, Zachary Sparks, Lauren Carter, Logan Carter, Callie Houck, Parker Houck, Jhola Moran, ; Sister: Cathy Kennedy of Lawrenceville; Several Nieces & Nephews.
