Mary Ford Barnes, age 84 of Loganville, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2018 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Dr. Bob Hoffman and Rev. Nate McGehee will officiate. Interment will follow at Loganville Memorial Gardens. Mary was a member of Loganville First United Methodist Church and retired from Kuppenheimer after many years of service. She loved her children, grandchildren, sewing, word search, Elvis Presley and the Braves. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, L.C. Barnes. Mary is survived by her Children: Ted & Bonnie Barnes of Montclair, VA; Buddy & Juanita Barnes of Jersey, GA; Terry Barnes of Loganville; Billie Faye Jones of Macon; Brother: Hubert Ford of Loganville; Sister: Norma “Susie” Littleton of Loganville; 7 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; and several Nieces & Nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052. 770-466-1544.
